It’s funny how until a few years ago I didn’t know what each makeup brush is for and somehow now I have several. Not long ago I shared with you my new favorite set of brushes and for those who wonder what each one is for and which ones are necessary, I have the answer:
Brocha para base de maquillaje

Brocha para polvo
Esta brocha la identificas por ser redonda y fluffy con cerdas mas abiertas para que el polvo no se deposite en un solo lugar sino que se distribuya fácilmente y no quede apelmazado. Una brocha que me encanta es la kabuki de ELF.You identify this brush for being round and fluffy with more open bristles so that the powder does not settle in one place but is easily distributed and does not get caked. One brush that I love is ELF’s kabuki.
Brocha para Rubor
Para mí, ésta brocha es de las más importantes porque el rubor mal aplicado puede echar a perder todo el maquillaje. Mi favorita es ésta tanto para mis rubores líquidos como secos porque difumina perfecto. El tip está en aplicar un poco de rubor en las mejillas y empezar a difuminar hacia afuera, es decir hacia la linea de tu cabello en movimientos circulares.For me, this brush is one of the most important because the wrong blush can spoil all the makeup. My favorite is this one for both my liquid and dry blushes because it blends perfectly. The tip is to apply a little blush on the cheeks and begin to blend outwards, that is, towards your hairline in circular movements.
Brocha plana
Son excelentes para aplicar sombra a manera de toquesitos en el párpado móvil o para delinear. Me encanta usarls para depositar sombras con glitter y que no se muevan.They are excellent for applying shadow as small touches on the eyelid or for lining. I love using them to deposit glitter shadows so they don’t move.
Brocha para difuminar sombras
También conocida como brocha para marcar la cuenca. Normalmente tienen las cerdas no tan compactas y terminan en punta. Es mi favorita para los ojos porque difumina e integra tus sombras muy fácilmente pero sobretodo te ayuda a “borrar” cualquier error o linea que hayas dejado muy marcada.Also known as a basin marking brush. They usually have the bristles not so compact and end in a point. It is my favorite for the eyes because it blurs and integrates your shadows very easily but above all it helps you “erase” any errors or lines that you have left very marked.
Brocha para hacer contorno
Esta brocha es excelente para definir tus pómulos y perfilar tu rostro. Sé que hacer contornos puede intimidar pero es muy buena para definir y destacar las líneas de tu rostro. Yo no la usé por mucho tiempo y hoy es un must en mis brochas. El tip es practicar e ir aplicando muy poco a poco el color.This brush is excellent for defining your cheekbones and outlining your face. I know contouring can be intimidating but it is very good at defining and highlighting the lines of your face. I did not use it for a long time and today it is a must in my brushes. The tip is to practice and apply the color very little by little.
