Cuando éramos niñas, en AF Moda nos encantaba vestirnos como nuestras madres. Era una forma hermosa de crear un vínculo emocional y a la vez vernos reflejadas en la adultez ideal, así que era un juego divertido. Hoy en día, el mundo ha cambiado significativamente, y cada vez más las mujeres maduras por encima de los 40 o 50 años están mejor física y mentalmente, pudiendo prolongar su juventud en diversos aspectos de la vida. Es como si se hubieran invertido los papeles, y las madres o abuelas pudieran estar tan fabulosas a su edad como sus hijas y nietas. Todo es cuestión de imagen y actitud.



Dentro de este contexto, la moda en la edad madura juega un papel fundamental como reflejo de ese nuevo estado de bienestar que ha alcanzado la mujer adulta hoy en día. Atrás quedaron esas mujeres envejecidas con imagen de abuela, y por el contrario, cada vez  más vemos mujeres maduras guapísimas, con mucha fuerza y energía para la vida, y todo esto se refleja en su forma de vestir.

Sin embargo hay una serie de pautas que debemos seguir para sacar el máximo provecho ala moda en la edad adulta y evitar caer en excesos o looks inapropiados. En AF Moda queremos dedicar este ?De los Pies a la Cabeza? del mes de marzo a dar algunos consejos al respecto.

Lo primero que tenemos que concientizar es que si bien podemos encontrarnos en excelente forma física, ya no somos jovencitas, con lo cual hay algunas cosas que debemos cuidar: nuestros escotes deben ser más discretos, nuestros pantalones y shorts deben ser a la cintura y no a la cadera, las mangas deben tener un largo apropiado (en función del estado de flacidez de nuestros brazos), y sobre todo debemos usar prendas que perfilen la silueta sin ceñirla, con el fin de evitar que las imperfecciones propias de la edad queden en evidencia. Es importante que evitemos las prendas muy ajustadas, mostrar abdomen o tripita, así como las faldas excesivamente cortas. Siempre un poco de tacón ayudará a estilizar la figura, tengámoslo en cuenta. Recordemos que la madurez va asociada a la elegancia, y que esta elegancia puede ser moderna y estilosa, siempre y cuando mantenga la discreción y el buen gusto.

Otro tema importante es el de los colores. En la edad madura podemos incluirlo con moderación en accesorios y complementos, incluso en algunas prendas de vestir, siempre y cuando no sea en la totalidad del look de forma excesivamente llamativa. Los estampados deben ser discretos también. Recordemos que a cualquier edad, el Monocromatismo (vestir en distintas o igual gama de un mismo color) siempre favorece, ya que estiliza la figura y favorece la elegancia que habíamos mencionado antes.

Los tejidos y calidades debemos cuidarlos también, llevando los mejores que podamos permitirnos, ya que a las edades maduras esto es un factor decisivo para la imagen en cuanto a sobriedad y clase, sin que por ello se pierda la modernidad. El corte y el patronaje deben ser limpios y bien hechos, de forma que las prendas sienten correctamente al cuerpo. Evitemos los adornos excesivos o innecesarios, los frunces, pliegues y cualquier detalle innecesariamente llamativo.

Al igual que para las mujeres jóvenes, en la edad madura recomendamos no obsesionarse con las tendencias de moda y tomar de ellas sólo las que mejor nos favorecen. También debemos estar muy conscientes de nuestra morfología y tipo de silueta para escoger aquellas prendas que nos permitan sacarnos el máximo provecho.

When we were little girls, we in AF Moda loved to dress like our mothers. It was a beautiful way to create an emotional bond and simultaneously see us reflected the ideal adulthood, so it was a fun game. Today, the world has changed significantly and increasingly mature women over 40 or 50 years are better physically and mentally, and can prolong their youth in various aspects of life. It"s like if the roles were reversed, and the mothers or grandmothers could now be so fabulous at their age as their daughters and granddaughters. It"s a matter of image and attitude.

Gone are those aged women with grandmotherly image, and on the contrary, increasingly we see gorgeous mature women, with great force and energy for life, and this is reflected in their dress.

However there are some guidelines to follow to take out the most of our fashionable adulthood and avoid falling into excessive or inappropriate looks. In AF Moda we want to dedicate this "From Head to Toes" of March to give you some advices.

The first thing we have to do is take awareness that although we may find ourselves in good shape, we are no longer young girls, so there are some things you should care: our necklines should be more discreet, our pants and shorts must be at the waist and not the hip, the sleeves should have an appropriate length (depending on the state of our arms sagging), and above all we must wear clothing that outline the silhouette without belting it, in order to avoid the imperfections of age stay in evidence. It is important that we avoid tight clothes, show abdomen or tummy, and excessively short skirts. Always a bit of a heel will help stylize the figure, keep that also in mind. Recall that maturity is associated with elegance, and this can be chic and modern and stylish, as long as we maintain discretion and good taste.

Another important issue is the color. In mature age we can include it with moderation in accessories, even in some clothing, as long as we don´t use it in a total look overly flashy. Recall that at any age, the monochromatism (dress in different or equal range of the same color) always favors, helping to shape the body and promotes the elegance we mentioned before.

As we do with young women, in mature age we recommend not get obsessed with fashion trends and take from them only the ones that best favor us. We must also be very aware of our morphology and silhouette type, in order to choose clothes that allow us to take out the most advantages of our body.
