¡Buenas noches! Como cada jueves, os traigo una nueva entrada de mi ruta por la Costa Oeste.
Después de nuestra estancia en las Vegas nos dirigimos hacia el Grand Cañon del Colorado. Dado que salíamos de las Vegas, visitamos la parte oeste.
Good night! As every Thursday, I bring you a new post about my trip to the West Coast of USA.
After our stay in Las Vegas, we went to our next destination: Grand Canyon. We departed from Las Vegas, we visited the West Rim.
Pusimos la ruta en el GPS y poco de antes de llegar al destino, vimos que nos obligaban a dejar el coche y te hacían acceder en autobús. Nadie nos había dicho que teníamos que pagar para ver el Gran Cañon, pero os puedo decir que aunque me pareció un poco excesivo el precio, bien merece la pena pagarlo.
We put the destination in the GPS and a few meters before to arrive to our destination, we saw that you had to leave the car and you had to take a bus. Nobody told us that we had to paid to visit the Grand Canyon, but although at first I seemed that it was expensive, worth paying.
El tour incluye tres paradas. La primera parada es un mini pueblo, que esta creado expresamente para los turistas, que recrea el famoso far west que tantas veces hemos visto en las películas de vaqueros.
The tour has three stop. The first stop is a little village, which is created for the tourists, that recreates a typical village of the far west that you have seen in a lot of movies of cowboys.
El segundo punto, que es el que más me impacto, es donde se encuentra el famoso skywalk que es una plataforma de cristal a 1.200 metros de altura des del que puedes divisar las maravillosas vistas del Gran Cañon y ver el rio colorado bajo tus pies.
The second stop is where is situated the famous skywalk that its a crystal platform of 1.200 meters of hight where you have amazing views of the Grand Canyon and you can see the Colorado River under your feet.
En esta parada, estuvimos cerca de una hora, ya que estuvimos haciendo infinidad de fotos, porque el paisaje es espectacular y te deja sin palabras. Eso si, si tienes vertigo, en el Grand Cañon sufres bastante, de hecho no me acerque al borde ni una sola vez, porque ves el abismo y impresiona bastante.
In this point, we stayed about an hour, because we took several pictures as landscape is stunning and leaves you without word. But if you are afraid of heigh, in the Grand Canyon you will suffer a lot. I didnt approach to the border in all the tour, because you saw the abyss and it impressed a lot.
Después de hacer miles de fotos, decidimos ir al skywalk y tengo que decir que las vistas son igual de buenas fuera, pero ya que es un sitio que no vas a volver a ir, decidimos hacerlo. Antes de entrar a la plataforma, tienes que dejar todas tus pertenencias fuera y no te dejan llevar cámara, si quieres hacerte fotos hay gente que te las hace y luego puedes comprarlas.
After taking thousands of pictures, we went to the skywalk and I have to say that the views in there are similar to the views you have outside, but the Grand Canyon is the kind of place that its difficult you returns, we decided to do it. Before you enter in the platform, you have to leave all your things outside and you cant bring your camera. If you want a picture there, there are people that takes the picture and after, you can buy them.
Y el último punto, también me gusto mucho, ya que hay unas vistas espectaculares del Gran Cañon y además, hay los restos de un antiguo tranvía minero que conectaba con la mina de Guano.
The last stop of the tour, I liked so much, because there are beautiful views of the Grand Canyon and in addition, you can see the remains of an old train that it was connected to Guanos mine.
Después de hacer el tour, el autobús te deja en el punto inicial, donde habíamos dejado el coche. Con la felicidad de haber visto un lugar impresionante, nos dirigimos a nuestro próximo destino que era Flagstaff.
El Gran Canyon fue el lugar que más me impactó de todo nuestro road trip y sin lugar a dudas, si vas por la Costa Oeste, tienes que planificar un día en tu ruta para ver esta majestuosidad de la naturaleza.

After doing the tour, the bus leaves you in the initial point where we had left the car. Full of happiness for visiting one of the most amazing places that Ive seen in my life, we went to our next destination: Flagstaff.
The Grand Canyon was the place that most impressed me of all our road trip. If you go to the West Coast, you have to plan one day in there to see this stunning place.
