One of the many things I love about this country is the constant interaction one can have with nature and animals. In Johannesburg, there are so many beautiful parks and nature reserves in almost every neighborhood. I like the fact that I live in a busy city that also has spaces to relax the mind and disconnect but most importantly, where I can take an enjoyable walk with my son.
The other day, thanks to my friend Monica, I discovered a new park located at the Field and Study Center, next to a river and in the heart of Sandton. The best time to go there is during the sunset where people are having fun with their family and pets. Luka loved seeing the variety of dogs and being licked by some of them.

Una de las cosas que amo de este país es la constante interacción que uno puede tener con la naturaleza y animales. En Johannesburgo, hay muchos parques y reservas naturales en casi todos los barrios. Me gusta el hecho que viva en una ciudad tan activa que cuenta con espacios para relajar la mente y desconectarse pero lo más importante, a donde puedo ir a caminar y pasar un momento divertido con mi hijo.
El otro día, gracias a mi amiga Mónica, descubrí un parque súper lindo al lado de un rio, en todo el corazón de Sandton. La mejor hora para ir a allí es durante el atardecer que es la misma hora donde la gente sale con sus perros e hijos. Luka disfrutó mucho ver la gran variedad de perros que había y que varios de ellos se acercaran a lamerle la manito.
