This week, I was invited to celebrate the Clarins Most Dynamic Woman Award. An award that recognises the commitment of exceptional women who devote themselves to change and improve the life of so many children who live in disadvantaged conditions. This was definitely a beautiful evening with beautiful and interesting people.

After enjoying the sunset, talking with the other guests and being spoilt with delicious treats, we were invited to the second floor to get to know more about Clarins group and finally discover who was the winner of the Most Dynamic Woman 2015.
Christian Courtin - Clarins, Chairman of Clarins Group, told us about how women have been always a source of inspiration for Clarins, and how this award started 18 years ago. It is now celebrated in more than 15 countries around the world. We also saw a video about the amazing things that Clarins is doing with the communities of Madagascar.
I had a chat with Christian at the end of this event, we talked about Colombia (my country),Cartagena and how much he likes it. It makes me feel very happy when people talk positively about my country... so thumbs up to him :)
She is Leigh Bristow, the winner of the night! Leigh, through her project Sumbandila, gives mentorship and support to students who have been selected from the top academic achievers in the Vhembe district of Limpopo. Sumbandila assists them with financial, academic and emotional support. She will receive R200.000 to carry on with her project and another R50.000 next year.
Thanks Clarins for reminding us the role of women in the actual society and how we can change so many lives!
