¿Qué tal? Hoy os voy a enseñar una receta típica del carnaval gallego, las orejas, aprovechando que estas fiestas fueron hace unos días. Su nombre viene del parecido a las orejas humanas, con un tamaño bastante más grande, muy fáciles de preparar y para chuparse los dedos.
Ingredientes
- 1 vaso de agua
- 1/2 kilo de harina
- 2 huevos
- mantequilla
- azúcar
- sal
- aceite para freír
Elaboración
En un bol derretimos un poco de mantequilla y a continuación añadimos los dos huevos, la sal, el agua templada y vamos añadiendo la harina hasta tener un masa espesa en la que podamos trabajar con las manos fácilmente.
Disponemos sobre la mesa para trabajar una poca harina para que no se nos pegue la masa y empezamos a amasar bien hasta tener una bola y que no se nos pegue a las manos. Dejamos reposar entre 2-3 horas en un bol tapado y a temperatura ambiente.
Una vez pasado este tiempo procedemos a hacer bolas pequeñas y extendemos con el rodillo, ni muy finas ni muy gruesas.
En una sartén con abundante aceite y bien caliente echamos los trozos de masa y le damos la forma característica con un tenedor y doramos (tener cuidado que se suelen pasar muy rapido y las tostaremos demasiado). Espolvoreamos por encima con azúcar, dejamos enfriar y listas para comer!!! :)

ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 kilo of flour
- 2 eggs
- butter
- sugar
- salt
- Oil for frying
elaboration
In a bowl we melt a little butter and then we add the two eggs , salt, warm water and start adding flour until you have a thick mass in which we can work with your hands easily .
We have on the table to work on a little flour so that we will not stick to the dough and knead well until we started having a ball and we will not stick to your hands. Let stand 2-3 hours in a covered bowl at room temperature.
After this time proceed to make small balls and extend the roll , not too thin nor too thick .
In a pan with hot oil and toss the pieces of dough and give the characteristic shape and gilded with a fork ( be careful that often go too fast and too tostaremos ) . Sprinkle top with sugar, let cool and ready to eat ! :)
