This collection in my opinion is a wonderful example of how classic and modern combine creating a perfect mix, with just the right amount of each other. This makes a collection wearable and approachable, by this I mean more people would venture out of their comfort classic zone to take a more modern route (such a s myself). Sometimes modern is done to aggressively and frankly that is a bit overwhelming, it ends up being too trendy, but when mixed with classic in this way, then it is just perfect!

At first look I think we can think of this collection…well isn’t this a trendy version of minimal clothes? But then after taking the time to look more into it, and inspect the details we can start to realize there is actually nothing trendy about the clothes themselves, if anything it is the way they are put together layered over sheer tops, but separating the items one by one we can s ...
This Elizabeth and James collection is just wonderful. It follows a lot of The Row’s aesthetics, which is kind of obvious since the brand belongs to the Olsen twins as well. I love the fabrics, the proportions, the footwear and of course the color palette is just perfect. Wearable and just on point for a Resort collection. —————————— ...
As much as I love the clothes here, my problem with this collection, and the brand really, is the unoriginality they keep facing. Once again a big proportion of this collection looks like a copy of a past collection, this time from The Row. I love The Row, and I follow all their collections (as you can see on this blog) so it’s very easy for me to recognize this issue. I have a big problem w ...
Every single season you can see that I share with you my favorite collections. Sometimes I share with you X designer and sometimes Y, but the ones that always repeat itself no matter what are two: Margaret Howell and The Row. I feel the most identified with this two. Today I am talking about the last one. Resort and Pre-Fall are always my favorite collections I don’t have a reason exactly bu ...
Looks like a collection I would mostly wear for a night out, an event or the office (if I worked in an office environment that required a dress code). That does not crash with the fact that the clothes are gorgeous and sexy, without being over the top, keeping that 1990’s nostalgia very much representative of Sharon Stone’s style at the time. ——————& ...
While waiting for all the Resort 2016 collections to come up, a good source of inspiration is still the Fall Winter 2015/2016 collections. Today I want to share with you a collection that draw my attention because of it’s down to earth and simple garments. I am always looking for something easy to wear, than can last for years to come, and this collection is just that. I only choose the dark ...
So of course the first collection of the season i’ll be sharing with you is my always favorite The Row. Every season I love this brand more and more for obvious reasons. Models are always, always on flats; comfort over anything, that is a plus 100 in my book, the choice of colors is always right; less is more, and the cut, well I love how they feature a longer silhouette, and relaxed fit, it ...
A little inspiration today from one of my favorites: A.P.C. It’s no secret that I love this brand, it is a great option if you like clean lines, classic design and sober colors, like I do. It also helps that it is made for a french woman’s body: by this I mean slim and average to short height so it is a great brand in general for petite girls. This two key factors I think set it apart ...
Anything Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen design is a sure success, at least for me, I feel they understand modern women to perfection. This pre-fall collection is no exception, you can see a very down to earth, casual, easy to wear collection meant to be worn for everyday by so many types of women. I personally have never been as interested in their second line as I am with the first, but this time I m ...
Instead of showing the actual runway looks, today I decided to focus on the details. As much as I love Chanel, I am not very fond of the styling, it is very anti-Coco really, too much, always. Almost all the garments are exquisite but I think the appreciation of them gets lost with all the fuzz going on with the added elements, and sometimes even the background. And that is the case in this collec ...
