Inspiration: Celine Spring Summer 2015

Of course one of my favorite shows this season is Celine. Phoebe Philo has been doing minimal Celine for years, and of course this season we were all expecting more of the same. In this collection I am drawn once again to the ugly but attractive footwear. Ugly because it is ugly, shapeless reminds me of amebas but on other hand they are extremely attractive because they exude comfort and theres is nothing more attractive than someone feeling comfortable in whatever it is that they are wearing. This reminds me of the furry Birkenstock version Celine introduced for spring/summer 2013 collection. Will this shapeless footwear have the same effect? Probably. It is less shocking and less cutting edge.

Era de esperar que una de mis colecciones favoritas para la próxima temporada fuera Celine. Phoebe Philo lleva haciendo de lo minimalista su identidad hace años, y por supuesto todos esperábamos mas de lo mismo. En esta colección lo que mas me llama la atención es el calzado feo pero a la vez atractivo. Feo porque realmente no tienen forma y personalmente me evoca a una ameba, pero atractivo porque nada mas verlo piensas: que cómodo por favor!!! Y no hay nada mas atractivo que alguien que va cómodo lleve la ropa que lleve. Esto me recuerda a las Birkenstock peludas de la colección primavera/verano 2013. Tendrá este calzado amorfo el mismo efecto? Probablemente sí, pero no creo que llegue a esos niveles, es menos llamativo y menos innovador.
