DRESS FROM MY AFRICAN STYLE STORY

Hello! Technology and Social Media are amazing tools to meet people and discover local talent. Thanks to Instagram, I met Portuguese designer Carla Pinto and her beautiful label called My African Style Story. Carla is originally from Portugal but few years ago, she moved to Johannesburg. When I saw her pictures on Instagram, I was so fascinated by her designs but also felt curious about her life as I saw we had lots of things in common.

I contacted her and we had a coffee together. I was right, we have lots of things in common (both of us are foreigners living in SA, we both have an adventurous spirit, we both have one son and one daughter, we both lived in 2011 in USA and we both love fashion and style) and we connected so well.



Today I am wearing one of her designs. I love this wrap maxi dress with a back panel from her collection called Tradition.
