Being a tourist in my own city is something that I have been doing for 11 years already! I am amazed at the amount of places that I discover every week in Johannesburg and I want to share them with you.
Yesterday, I had a blast! I wanted to go to an outdoor place where I can have fun with my 2 years old boy, where I can also relax and have quality time with him, where I dont feel suffocated as the weather is so hot at the moment and where I can enjoy nature... and I discovered this wonderful place called Gog Lifestyle Park.
Gog Lifestyle just opened 2 months ago, and for me it is now, the best place to enjoy summer with kids!
This is a park with lots of attractions such 600 mts Splash Pad Pool, Spray Park, Bmx Park, Abseiling Wall, Zip Linning, Outdoor Ride Tracks, Motorized Train for the kids, Outdoor Trampoline Area, among with other cool activities.

As I am 6 months pregnant and the weather was hot, we were playing in the swimming pool for 6 hours! like mermaids :) but time passed by so quick as we were having a wonderful time bonding. We missed Daddy a lot but we will come back with him next week.
The park also has a lovely beer garden, restaurants and picnic areas.
Gog Lifestyle Park is located very close to where the old Lion Park was, in Krugersdorp. Its open on Wednesday to Sunday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm.
The price per person is R150.
Kids under 4 years old dont pay entrance fee.
