Enero es un buen mes, es el mejor. Enero es el ático de nuestro edificio del año. Desde su terraza de 360º se pueden ver todos los parques, las calles más anchas y las más congestionadas. Desde aquí se divisan las avenidas más largas y los paseos que conducen a la fachada marítima. También hay senderos que suben a las montañas… las posibilidades son infinitas pero el tiempo es limitado. Vamos a poner un rumbo, con un destino para este año. Sal a la calle, disfruta del paseo y no te saltes los semáforos (no por correr se llega antes). No pases apuro por las estrechas calles, siempre hay caminos hacia avenidas más luminosas. Si te pierdes, rectifica; llegarás igual habiendo conocido una nueva calle o barrio. Ante todo, no dejes de andar, cambia el rumbo tanto como lo necesites pero sigue trazando tu camino. Cuando subas al próximo ático mira hacia atrás, valora los recorridos que más has disfrutado, respira hondo y prepárate para los nuevos senderos que te esperan. ¡Feliz 2016 sinsillas!

January is a good month, actually is the best month. January is the attic of our years building. From its 360º terrace one can see all the parks of the city, the widest streets and the most congested ones. From here the longest avenues and the walks leading to the waterfront can be peacefully observed. Therere trails which go up to the mountains.. the possibilities are endless but time is limited. Lets set a course with a destination for this year. Get outside, enjoy the ride but dont skip traffic lights (running now doesnt mean well reach the goal earlier). Dont get worried by the narrowest streets, therere always paths to wider and brighter avenues. If you get lost, try it again; youll end up having known a new street or neighborhood. Above all, dont stop walking, change the way as much as you need it but keep on walking. Once you go up to the next attic look backwards and think about those tours youve enjoyed the most, breath deeply and get ready for the upcoming trails, theyre waiting for you. Happy 2016 sinsillas!
Abrigo - Stradivarius (old)
Jersey - GAP Tall (AW 14/15). Este decorado jersey calentito y de mangas interminables llegó a mi durante las pasadas rebajas de invierno. Me gusta usarlo tanto en Navidad como en cualquier ocasión que necesite un extra de abrigo lejos de los aburridos jerseys.
Vaqueros - H&M Conscious (AW 15/16). Aunque en esta ocasión llevo los bajos remangados, estos pantalones encerados me sirven para todo tipo de ocasiones, desde la oficina a unas copas de viernes. Se ajustan a la perfección y sobretodo, ¡son comodísimos!
Bolso - Massimo Dutti (SS 14)
Zapatos - Clarks (AW 15/16). El modelo Hamble Oak de Clarks me encantó desde que lo vi en la web. Reconozco que al principio me costaba imaginarme qué me pondría con unos zapatos de un estilo masculino tan marcado. Hasta se me pasó por la cabeza pensar si se me vería más masculina por el efecto de la altura. Tonterías a parte, en cuanto me llegaron a casa, vi cómo quedaban en mis pies y lo cómodos que son (no esperaba otra cosa) me vinieron ideas rápidamente. Me gusta verme con ellos, son elegantes, prácticos y le dan todo el estilo a cualquier prenda rescatada del armario que te propongas.

Coat - Stradivarius (old).
Jumper - GAP Tall (AW 14/15). This warm decorated jumper with endless sleeves came to me during the past winter sales. I like to wear it on Xmas or in any time I need an extra coat far away from bland jerseys.
Jeans - H&M Conscious (AW 15/16). Although this time I rolled up the end of the jeans, this waxed model is perfect for multiple occasions. They fit perfectly and, above all, theyre endlessly comfortable!
Bag - Massimo Dutti (SS 14)
Shoes - Clarks (AW 15/16). I felt in love with the Hamble Oak pair as soon as I saw them on-line. I admit I had my reservations at first regarding what to wear with such a pair of masculine looking shoes. I even wondered if I would look more masculine by being tall. Nonsense aside, as they arrived home and I saw my feet wearing them and feeling so comfortable the how-to-dress-ideas came quickly. I like how they look "in real life", theyre stylish, practical and offer that extra style to any garment you propose to rescue from the wardrobe.
