I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend! I sure did it was just fantastic to disconnect a little bit and relax.

Pre-fall collections are popping up as we speak, and I am in love with so many of them! Of course minimalism is a trend now and unfortunately it does not make any designer (or person) following it currently be actually a firm believer or trusted ambassador of what in my opinion is more than a trend, always has been more than that, it is a way of life. Like my friend Omar says, wait and see what happens when the trend is over, or just wait a few more seasons all those people and designers won’t be able to contain their true self excessive and overdone origins and they’ll be back to where they were a year or two ago. I couldn’t agree more. It’s sad because it is amazing to like a big number of collections/designer/houses but when there is no real message behind it, behind the brand, it becomes empty and meaningless and that is not what fashion really is. I am a person who will buy the message, the principles behind a brand more that just an item, to me it means purchasing a whole manifesto, so these things are so big of a deal in my eyes.

This collection by Los Angeles based label; Co is breathtaking beautiful. I love the nun-ish vibes mixed with an everyday fresh office girl look. I really feel I could wear all of the looks here in fact I would love to. I wanted to start showcasing pre-fall looks with this particular brand because it is a underrated one that has been showing a soft sexy minimal woman since it’s first day and it’s so worth exploring.

moda designers and collections samuji

My friend Omar first introduced me to Samuji not so long ago and even though I really liked it, this collection is where I fall in love. As simple as it gets, mixing a pale shy young woman with masculine accents it is all us lovers of the simple and sophisticated could ask for with a real down to earth vibe. I love when the presentation of clothes is as real as the pieces itself, because this is h ...

moda outfits sally la pointe

Today’s inspiration comes from another Pre-Fall collection: Sally La Pointe. I fell in love the moment I first saw it scrolling on Pinterest. I fell in love with the minimal aesthetic not only of the clothes but the background as well (when the background does not match the clothes I usually don’t value the final product as much). I love how wearable, relaxed, and versatile the garment ...

moda designers and collections the row

So of course the first collection of the season i’ll be sharing with you is my always favorite The Row. Every season I love this brand more and more for obvious reasons. Models are always, always on flats; comfort over anything, that is a plus 100 in my book, the choice of colors is always right; less is more, and the cut, well I love how they feature a longer silhouette, and relaxed fit, it ...

Hello 1990’s, welcome back! Seriously, this is such an awesome late 90’s revival, I really want to wear this last knit mini dress, specially now that i’m in hot weather that is calling for something like it! What do you think? Yay or nay? I know this is not everyone’s taste but it does fit mine perfectly, simple and feminine what is not to love? ———— ...

moda designers and collections inspiration

A little inspiration today from one of my favorites: A.P.C. It’s no secret that I love this brand, it is a great option if you like clean lines, classic design and sober colors, like I do. It also helps that it is made for a french woman’s body: by this I mean slim and average to short height so it is a great brand in general for petite girls. This two key factors I think set it apart ...

moda designers and collections the row

One of my favorites: The Row. One of the few brands that keeps an impecable line, straight continuity and always brings something new to the table that brands end up emulating years after. So far, to me almost every brand portraying this silhouette reminds me of The Row. It’s almost as if the Olsen twins started this whole minimal trend, with their line as a channel and have made their style ...

moda designers and collections elizabeth and james

Anything Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen design is a sure success, at least for me, I feel they understand modern women to perfection. This pre-fall collection is no exception, you can see a very down to earth, casual, easy to wear collection meant to be worn for everyday by so many types of women. I personally have never been as interested in their second line as I am with the first, but this time I m ...

While waiting for all the Resort 2016 collections to come up, a good source of inspiration is still the Fall Winter 2015/2016 collections. Today I want to share with you a collection that draw my attention because of it’s down to earth and simple garments. I am always looking for something easy to wear, than can last for years to come, and this collection is just that. I only choose the dark ...

Friday inspiration comes from Steven Alan latest collection. It is really simple and down to earth but that has always been the labels main characteristics. For this particular season the shapes are really wide and I’m digging that. It feels so cozy to be in wide clothes in winter so this is definitely thumbs up. What do you think like it or not? I do, I am totally pursuing this collection n ...

moda designers and collections fashion week ...

This year I wanted to do something different and fun and new, so I set myself to travel to a few of the emerging fashion weeks in the world and see what is going on in those places. I think we all know what goes on in Paris or NY it’s all over the place, and everyone and there mother can register as press, pay the fee and go, and even though the main appeal is in the quality of the designers ...
